Our goal is to advance the database field (and its surroundings) so that it becomes an integrated, embedded technology in all aspects of computing, and that it meets the challenges of the IT future w.r.t. internet, web, mobility, universal storage and access.

  Wir suchen für das kommende Sommersemester studentische Hilfskräfte zur Betreuung von Übungsgruppen im Rahmen der Vorlesungen RSBS (Prof. Vossen) und Informatik II (Prof. Clausing). Stellenausschreibung RSBS, Stellenausschreibung Informatik II.
• 01/19/2010: Neue Veranstaltung: Existenzgründung
  In Zusammenarbeit mit der Arbeitsstelle Forschungstransfer (AFO) der WWU bieten wir im Sommersemester 2010 eine Veranstaltung zum Thema Existenzgründung an. Im Rahmen dessen kann erlernt werden, wie man einen Business Plan schreibt; da es sich dabei um größeres Dokument handelt, kann diese Veranstaltung als Praktikum im BA-Studiengang Wirtschaftsinformatik anerkannt werden. Sie ist ferner eine gute Vorbereitung auf das ERCIS Launchpad 2010. View website.
